A dark-timber cabin twenty minutes up a forest road, with a wood-fired hot tub on the deck and nothing but spruce in every direction. Solar-assisted, properly insulated, and stocked with firewood. Phone signal is patchy on purpose. The wifi works fine when you want it to.

Genuinely remote and genuinely comfortable, which is a hard combination. Firewood was stacked and ready.
